Charles J. McCall - Attorney

Charles J. McCall was born in Little Rock and raised in Batesville, Ark. He served in the U.S. Army for three years as a paratrooper.  He studied at both the University of Arkansas and George Washington University and received his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Arkansas in 1971. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts in psychology, with a minor in chemistry, from the University of Arkansas.  He completed 24 postgraduate credit hours in Government Procurement Law (contracts) in the Master of Laws (LL.M.) program at George Washington University. He is licensed to practice in Virginia as well as in many federal courts. His primary areas of interest include civil, corporate, contract, franchise, condominium, real estate law and litigation.

Prior to forming his solo private practice in Virginia in 1983, he served on the senatorial staff for U.S. Sen. John L. McClellan and as director of special projects and vice president for legal and environmental affairs for the Airport Operators Council International, a Washington, D.C., airport lobby association. He also previously held a position as assistant corporate counsel for American Devco Inc., a major vacation-resort-retirement land seller in the Bahamas, Canary Islands and California.

Mr. McCall also was formerly in a group private practice in Northern Virginia, where he handled major felony, misdemeanor and defense representation in the Superior Court in the District of Columbia and in the federal court system. In that practice he also handled civil litigation in the Virginia Circuit Courts.
